6" Othonna Capensis Ruby Beads sedum Lovely planted in a potOthonna Ruby Beads comes to us from the dry, dusty, deserted, rocky places in South Africa where it scrambles among the rocks, looking for a little moisture and shade. Full pots of greenish purple, long skinny tubes dangle from reddish stems, looking like a wild hairdo. In brightest light to full sun, the stems turn scarlet and the beads ruby red tinged, hence the other nickname, "String of Rubies." We also have the name "String of Pickles" to work
