The artist, Carsten Henrichsen (1824 1897) has captured the wind swept scenery perfectly and the whole composition seems to be leaning left. The bush on the right of the couple appears to have grown diagonally with the wind whipping across the open landscape. Henrichsen trained at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen and often painted views
